Welcome to The Association of Independent Funeral Directors

Our goal is to give support to our members and to educate the community about existing funeral service options and to help our families understand the need for pre-planning to help get through a difficult time. Our membership works diligently to preserve the rich heritage of the funeral service profession in Australia and overseas.
If you are a funeral professional working in Australia or anywhere overseas, we sincerely invite you to become a member. Should you have questions, or need assistance in any way, please connect with us using the form on our Contact Us page.

Today, there’s a something more important than selling products and that is service to families. One where originality trumps one-size-fits-all solutions, where funerals are as likely to be a celebration of life as they are an observance of death.

To make a success of your business, you need to excel at everything and by joining an association like The Association of Independent Funeral Directors, we can help you understand the lay of the land, stand by you as you stake your claim in this new environment and turn a change into an opportunity.

Having another voice to speak on your behalf and ears to listen to you, we will help uncover new solutions to deliver services to your families.
